GUEST SPEAKER: Rev. George Parsenios
Topic: The Orthodox Paradox: Reflections on Christian Faith and Life on the Sunday of Orthodoxy

Rev. George Parsenios (PhD, Yale University) is Associate Professor of New Testament at
Princeton Theological Seminary, where he teaches courses in Greek, New Testament and
the interaction of early Christianity with the classical world. He is also Sessional Associate Professor at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. The author of several scholarly articles and three books on New Testament themes, he is currently writing an Introduction to the New Testament and a commentary on the Gospel of John, and serves as a priest at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He resides in Princeton, New Jersey along with Presbytera Maureen and their three children.
